This notice describes the current local Gear Centric release. It was updated on 8 September 2026.
Delivery preference
If you enter a delivery postcode, the app stores it in a first-party cookie for up to 30 days so buying tools can use that delivery scope. Use Clear beside the postcode to remove it. You can browse without entering a postcode.
Local preferences
Comparison selections can appear in page URLs; finder and filter choices are held in the page while you use it. These tools do not create an account or store a customer profile.
Correction reports
The contact tool creates a report on your device. It does not silently upload it. If a contact email is configured, you can open a draft in your email app and choose whether to send it. Include only information needed to explain the issue.
External services
Retailer and manufacturer links take you to other websites with their own privacy practices. This release has no configured advertising or visitor analytics service. A public deployment’s hosting logs and any added services must be documented before launch.
