Editorial & corrections policy

Useful buying guidance needs traceable facts and a clear distinction between evidence and opinion.

Sources and claims

We use manufacturer pages for stated product features and retailer listings for offers and seller policies. These are attributed claims. Independent measurements or owner reports should identify their source; an isolated report does not establish a general failure rate.

Recommendations

Controller recommendations depend on the buyer’s stated requirements and the information available. We show reasons and trade-offs. Marketing terms, popularity and an attractive image are not sufficient evidence of product quality.

Corrections

Use Contact & report an issue to identify the page, the incorrect detail and a supporting source. Once reviewed, a factual correction should update the affected record and every page using it. A correction must preserve original price timestamps and observation history.

Commercial independence

Payment must not determine editorial rankings. Any future sponsored placement or commission-bearing link must be disclosed where relevant. Product inclusion alone does not mean a retailer or manufacturer is a partner.

Hands-on testing

We do not present manufacturer specifications as our own lab results. Comfort, sound and long-term reliability assessments require supporting evidence, with limitations made clear.
